SolidWorks 2013 Free Download Information

UMass-Lowell has entered into an agreement with Solidworks that allows all full-time engineering students to download a full version of SolidWorks 2013.

Instructions for downloading SolidWorks 2013 

1. Go to http://www.SolidWorks.com/SEK
2. Download software using Student Engineering Kit ID (SEK-ID):  XSEK12
3. When prompted for the serial number during the installation enter: 90200042155339937VKFBD7B

A couple of things....

• Use your UML student email
• Remove all previous copies of SolidWorks from your system
• Once you complete the signup you will receive an email that provides detailed installation instructions - take the time to review them.
• The download is large - make sure you have a good connection and adequate time.
• SolidWorks is a Windows program but can work on a Mac that is running the Windows OS via bootcamp.
